Value of TGA Membership

Tennessee Gas Association is comprised of municipal gas systems, utility districts, gas authorities, private and public gas companies, pipelines, gas marketers, affiliated members and housing authorities. TGA members represent approximately 10,000 Tennessee employees serving over 1,200,000 customers with 31,000 miles of distribution line. TGA works closely with the Tennessee Regulatory Authority, American Gas Association, American Public Gas Association, Southern Gas Association and neighboring state natural gas associations.

 WHO SHOULD ATTEND  

The 2010 D & O Conference agenda is strategically targeted to the operations field employee. Please send all employees who work directly in the field as well as operations superintendents. Housing Authority employees are also encouraged to attend. The information and educational training derived from this conference is beneficial to all natural gas industry personnel working in the operations side of your natural gas system.

HOTEL:

A block of rooms for Monday and Tuesday evenings have been reserved at the new Embassy Suites Murfreesboro Hotel & Conference Center at a special rate of $129 single (or double) $139 triple or $149 quad plus tax. This includes a complimentary cooked to order breakfast each morning and a Manager’s Reception each evening for registered Embassy Suite guests with room keys. Any hotel charges due to changes, early departures or hotel room cancellations become the responsibility of the guest – not TGA. TGA assumes no responsibility for cancelled rooms or early or late check outs and will invoice the member should the Association be charged. The hotel mandated deadline for room reservations is March 26 but the block may fill before that date so call early. If the block is filled when you call, please contact Lynette DiMeola at 615-734-1714.
